About the Cell

The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) of Satyanarayan Gupt Madhuri Devi Mahavidyalay is committed to upholding the principles of equity, inclusion, and social justice on campus. The Cell aims to ensure that students and staff from diverse backgrounds—irrespective of caste, gender, religion, or disability—receive equal access to all academic, social, and infrastructural opportunities.

Key Objectives

• To create a fair and inclusive environment for all students and employees.
• To address issues related to discrimination or inequality based on caste, gender, disability, or background.
• To promote sensitivity and awareness regarding equity and human rights.
• To guide students from marginalized communities about scholarships, rights, and institutional support.

Activities of the Cell

• Organizing seminars and awareness campaigns on equity and social justice.
• Supporting students from SC/ST/OBC, minority groups, and differently-abled backgrounds.
• Collaborating with other welfare and grievance redressal cells.
• Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of equal opportunity policies.
